Betsy Anthony

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer for FGP and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership team, Betsy oversees operations and marketing and is responsible for the long-term strategic vision of FGP. She is closely involved with sales, internal talent acquisition, employee development, company culture, and works with FGP employees and clients to ensure the FGP values are reflected in all interactions.

Betsy joined FGP in 2007 as a recruiter within the Professional Staffing division, and quickly became a top performer in the business. She then moved on to running this division, where under her leadership, the division grew to $12M (revenue) in three core markets: Greenville, Columbia, and Nashville.

In 2018 Betsy was appointed as COO and over this time FGP has seen remarkable growth and through Betsy’s leadership in the organization has received multiple awards to include Inc. 500 and 5000, Best Place to Work in South Carolina, and one of South Carolina’s Fastest Growing Companies. Betsy has been recognized as FGP’s “Consultant of the Year”, Greenville’s “Best and Brightest”, holds a certification within the talent profession and is a member of Liberty Fellowship class of 2020 (member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network).

During her time at FGP, Betsy also worked directly with talent assessing, developing, and promoting growth in individuals throughout organizations and internally at FGP. And this passion is something that continues to stand front and center of her work.

 


 

Interesting Facts:

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

I am a huge college football fan; I also grew up playing volleyball, played in college and coached a high school team after graduation so I have a passion for anything sports!

What is your proudest accomplishment?

My children! My three kids are my greatest joy and they know how to put a smile on my face. We love to be together as a family and can always make each other laugh!

What’s the thing you are most proud of, from your time at FGP?

For me, I get to interact with pretty much everyone across our business internally, and I love seeing the passion come through in all that they do. It’s something that runs through our organization and our people, and we are all quietly competitive, too. And that passion is something we relish and nurture.
