During her senior year at Clemson University, Heather worked for “the mouse” at Walt Disney World. Upon graduation, Heather started her career as an Admission Rep / Recruiter for the Savannah College of Art & Design. Afterwards, Heather quickly moved into the world of County Administration where she served for 5 years as County Administrator. Economic Development was a natural next step and she led the economic development efforts of Allendale County, Greater Beaufort-Hilton Head and Anderson County. Before departing, Heather announced 1902 jobs and $159.5 million in Anderson County.

Now enjoying her HR career at Find Great People as a Business Development Manager, she is using her executive-level network around the state to make companies and individuals aware of the comprehensive nature of FGP’s business. She is heavily involved with the Upstate SC Alliance through FGP’s investment in the regional organization and is proud be the 2011-2012 President of SC  Economic Developers’ Association. She also serves on the New Carolina and SC Auto Council boards. Heather is currently enrolled at  Clemson University where she will earn her Masters in Human Resource Development in 2012. She is an active member at Shandon Baptist in Columbia, where she and her husband, Terry, are  members. They have a five year old son, Trace, who like them, enjoys saltwater fishing and horseback riding.
