Jan has 15 years of experience in Senior Financial Management positions with companies ranging from start-up to public and not-for-profit companies, primarily in international information processing, including financial services.

As a former Big 5 CPA and CFP, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the Accounting and Finance team.  Jan spent 3 years with Arthur Andersen & Co., covering audit, SEC, tax and advisory services for emerging business in New England. Her clients were a diverse group of public and privately held companies, including retail, high tech manufacturing, software, information services, real estate development and construction firms.

She currently teaches accounting fundamentals online to nonfinancial executives attending eCornell. Jan graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Hotel Administration. an MBA in Accounting and passed the CPA exam on her first sitting. In addition, Jan's innovative insights and practices have been published in magazines such as CFO and Business Finance. In October 2004, Jan achieved her Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) certification.
