Before joining FGP Jes helped build strong communities in her work as Director of Resource Development at United Way in Buncombe County. She managed a dynamic team of resource development professionals who raised millions of dollars annually for the community to fund United Way’s work in areas of Education, Income, and Health. That work allowed Jes to become deeply involved with the business community and build strong relationships with the workforce and leadership of the Western North Carolina region.

Jes graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000, and is currently working on her doctorate in Management specializing in Leadership and Organizational Change. She expects to complete her program during the summer of 2011. During her studies she has researched the intimate connection between employing great people and building great organizations. Her professional experience and education naturally led her to Find Great People, Intl. In 2010, Jes expanded FGP's operations into Western North Carolina, where she is working with companies of all sizes to address their most pressing staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting needs.

 Jes is actively involved with the Leadership Asheville Board of Directors as the Chair of the Fellows Membership Program; the Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as an Ambassador and member of the Total Resource Campaign Cabinet; with Highlands Circle; United Way's Emerging Leaders program; and the Reuter YMCA Financial Development Board.  She is also as Adjunct Faculty Member at regional community colleges. In their spare time, Jes and her husband Toby run, cook, and travel. They also love to spend time with their rescue dog, Alex.
