Sales Engineer

Job Description


  • Sell and support Autodesk Building & Construction solutions
  • Present Autodesk solutions to prospective customers, training users on the use of software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and assisting with handling technical support requests from users
  • Perform and lead Needs assessments, training assessments, and pre-sales presentations
  • Present in front of potential clients regarding Autodesk technologies at user groups, tradeshows, executive briefings, and other pre-sale activities
  • Deliver standard and customized training
  • Assist clients with phone, online, virtual, and on-site technical support
  • Provide technical assistance to both inside and outside sales reps in the development and closing of sales opportunities
  • Write blog and other articles regarding Autodesk and design technology
  • Identify applications that will benefit customers and bring future opportunities for the company


  • 3+ years’ experience in Building or Construction industry
  • BS in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Science
  • AutoCAD & Revit experience
  • Experience using BIM 360 or other project management technologies, a plus
  • Experience instructing users on software
