Fun Facts:

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

Our family are die-hard Red Sox fans and were able to attend a game at Fenway Park in 2012 – their 100th year anniversary – it was a memory we will never forget. Watching them win the World Series in 2013 was so exciting! We have a junior in High School right now – he is a 6’5”, Southpaw pitcher so I would say pitching is my favorite position but wow nerve racking! I was born and raised in Arizona, so we also cheer on the Diamondbacks – and watched as they won the World Series in 2001.

What do you love to do outside of work?

My husband and I have an amazing tomato garden! We love to grow all types of peppers, squash, zucchini, potatoes, etc. We also have a very impressive blackberry garden that feeds us all summer and into the winter, freezing all the extra crop. We are a very active family – constantly working on our farm; flower gardens, riding horses, playing sports in the yard, hiking. We also enjoy a little down time at our pool with a great book and our kids. Our favorite place is on a beach – outside – enjoying the weather, family, and making memories.

What is your greatest piece of life advice?

I read a quote many years back that I try and teach my children each and every day and that I use for myself – personal or professional (to my knowledge, it’s an unknown author) “If you really do put a small value upon yourself, rest assured that the world will not raise your price”. Confidence accompanied with humility is a wonderful pair. Lead, teach and inspire those around you in all that you do.
