Senior Business Development
Melanie works in Find Great People’s Columbia office and has 15 years of experience in sales, training and talent management within the recruiting industry. She helped grow the Columbia office by establishing long lasting relationships with local, regional and national companies to assist in defining their talent management strategies. She works with companies across all industries to assist in Executive Search, Professional Staffing, Human Resources Consulting and Outplacement Services. She is a member of the Columbia Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a Certified Temporary-Staffing Specialist (CTS).
Previously, Melanie was a Senior Branch Manager for an international recruiting firm. Under her leadership, the branch expanded into three onsite offices. She also mentored other Branch Managers in the region by developing strategic growth plans for underperforming teams. Melanie is a graduate of Columbia College and a recipient of the Great Person of the Year award from FGP.
If you could have any other fantasy career what would it be and why?
A Chef on the Food Network – I love to cook and think it would be so much fun to have my own show!
What makes you laugh the most?
My children - Parker and Peyton. They are hilarious and so much fun to be around!
