Alex Steryous

IT Recruiter

Alex serves as an IT Recruiter at FGP where he builds relationships with tech savvy candidates and places them into roles that align with their skills and experiences. He is responsible for finding talent across many levels, from IT Support and Managers to Network Engineers.

Before FGP, Alex was a member of the Varsity Men’s Tennis Team at Furman University and played in the lineup all four years. During summers, Alex traveled to Germany to train for tennis, and he also spent time coaching at the Nike Tennis Camps at Furman University.

Interesting Facts:

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

I love staying active in general, but basketball is probably the most fun for me to play. I still play tennis a little, but not as competitively as I used to.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I love hanging with friends. It doesn’t matter where we are or what we are doing, but if I’m with the right group of friends, then it’s always a fun time.

What’s your favorite travel destination, or where would you like to go?

I love travelling, and there is so much more I want to see. I think at the top of my list is visiting Greece. My last name (Steryous) is Greek, so I would love exploring my heritage as well as the incredibly scenic country firsthand.
