We are looking for a sharp Administrative Specialist to join a corporate accounting department, specifically managing the company’s corporate expense reporting, reviewing approvals, documentation, and compliance processes. This is a permanent opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience with Concur, expense reporting and MS Excel. Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all expense reporting compliance requirements are met by reviewing and coding all monthly transactions within Concur.
  • Use MS Excel to process all approved monthly expense report transactions 
  • Apply expense caps and prepare entries to record related expenses
  • Manage and maintain a monthly and quarterly report of all expense report and compliance policy exceptions
  • Provide periodic training to new hires on the company’s travel, expense and compliance policies and procedures
  • Prepare, process and record monthly invoices for fees and reimbursements across all corporate entities
  • Prepare cost allocations among corporate entities 
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist the team with some data entry/journal entry recording pertaining to expenses to support month end close
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 3-5+ years of strong administrative experience
  • Experience with expense reporting, specifically with direct exposure to Concur
  • Intermediate experience with MS Excel
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Customer service mentality
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Ability to manage deadlines and to work independently
