Our client is looking for an AP Processing Specialist to manage their accounts payable communication between vendors and the company. A high level of customer service, courteous communication, timely in responsiveness and organization will be key to the success of this role. Description:
- Take ownership and manage company accounts payable inbox by acting as the main point of contact for all vendor and company communication regarding accounts payable
- Problem solve, follow up, and prioritize while managing the incoming emails
- Maintain important relationships with vendors by ensuring their questions are answered and providing clear and accurate communication on payments
- Manage a high volume of incoming emails, estimating about 1200 to 1500 per week
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting. Finance or related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role or related field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passion for quality, accuracy and a high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage critical deadlines
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization both internally and externally
