We are seeking a professional HOA/Property Management Bookkeeper for a well established company in Travelers Rest, SC. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have 3+ years or relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience, and will have previous experience working with an HOA or property management group.


Job Description:
  • Maintain accurate general ledgers for multiple HOA communities
  • Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, reimbursements, and recurring payments
  • Manage accounts receivable, including homeowner assessments, late fees, and payment application
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements, credit card statements, and petty cash
  • Prepare monthly financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and variance explanations
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial analysis
  • Track reserve funds, special assessments, and capital improvement project expenses
  • Maintain homeowner account records and respond to billing inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Support annual audits or financial reviews by gathering required documentation
  • Ensure compliance
  • Coordinate with vendors on payment status, W?9 forms, and year end 1099 preparation
  • Support the preparation of board meeting packets, budgets, and financial summaries
  • Assist leadership with ad hoc reporting, data entry, and special projects as needed

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
  • 2+ years of experience working with HOAs or property management
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar software
  • Excellent Excel skills

Hours:
  • Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm
  • 100% ONSITE

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $55,000 – $65,000
