Description:
- Responsible for managing and expanding a territory that includes an existing account base while pursuing new business opportunities.
- Your primary focus will be building relationships with decision-makers across the commercial design and construction community, including developers, architects, and contractors.
- Manage a defined territory with a mix of account management and new business development
- Call on architectural and design firms, developers, and construction professionals to promote product solutions
- Provide product education and technical guidance to clients
- Conduct regular client visits and job site walk-throughs (local day travel)
- Monitor market activity, identify project opportunities, and act as a consultative partner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client support
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in outside B2B sales, preferably in building materials, construction services, or related industries
- Experience working with architects, developers, or contractors is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong territory management skills
- Willingness to travel locally (day trips within assigned region)
- Based in or open to relocating to the Midlands region of South Carolina(relocation assistance available)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
- $65,000-75,000 base
- Commission opportunity
