Our client in the telecommunications space is seeking a temporary Customer Service Specialist to cover a medical leave for 2-3 months. This position is fully on-site M-F, 7:30 am-4:30pm CST.
This candidate will be handling front desk responsibilities (greeting customers, answering the phones and emails), and various clerical responsibilities for the customer service department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide professional assistance to all customers, acting as the first point of contact to welcome customers and visitors
- Answer incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate individuals or taking messages as needed
- Order and receive depot repairs, checking for accuracy
- Close out service tickets
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking required
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with a strong attention to detail
- High level of integrity
COMPENSATION: $17-18/hour
