We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join a growing team at our client, a telecommunications company in Wilmington, NC. This position is full time and onsite.

Responsibilities:
- Provide professional assistance to all customers, serving as the initial contact for greeting both customers and visitors.
- Handle phone calls by directing them to the correct person or taking and delivering messages as needed.
- Manage equipment repairs by creating work tickets for items received either in person or through UPS.
- Process part orders, repair requests, and sales orders.
- Oversee inventory control by generating purchase orders, managing orders, and ensuring that all inventory withdrawals are recorded on work tickets.
- Assist with periodic inventory audits to ensure accurate counts, investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Check tickets for accuracy, ensuring proper documentation, billing type, and pricing before finalizing.
- Keep customer information, billing details, and equipment records up to date in Lifeline.
- Handle and track all Shop Warranty Claims.
- Send billing statements to customers at the end of each month, process recurring billing for maintenance and community repeater customers, and manage payments through cash or credit cards. Follow up on aged receivables.
- Maintain the company credit card for the shop, ensuring all receipts are submitted to accounts payable and documented on work tickets when relevant.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required, Associate Degree preferred.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive, strong ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to set priorities, work independently, and achieve goals without direct supervision.
- Proven history of dependability and accountability
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
