HR Generalist
Manufacturing facility is looking to add a generalist to their HR Team. 
Responsibilities:

  • Review and track hourly performance appraisals/evaluations
  • Recruit and present for hire, qualified applicants for open positions as required, to keep a steady and efficient workforce in the manufacturing plant
  • Assist/backup for payroll processing
  • Succession planning/9 block/development strategies
  • Attend and host job fairs
  • Identify and work with recruiters
  • Track turnover
  • Retention
  • Draft JDs as needed
  • Draft and obtain approvals on Personnel Change requests
  • Oversee Employee referral program
  • Conduct exit and stay interviews
  • Workers’ Comp claims
  • Oversee FMLA/STD/LTD
  • Represents the organization in lower level hearings – i.e. unemployment
  • Coordinate all disciplinary actions and documentation other than attendance
  • Primary Recruiter, Position Poster – internally, externally
  • Develops and manages all internal 360 degree feedback evaluations for “internal customers”
  • Create and manage Employee Retention program – onboarding, follow-ups, feedback
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of HR experience with at least 1 being in manufacturing
  • HSD or Associates Degree with bachelor’s preferred
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
