Position Summary:
Reporting to the CEO, the Human Resources (HR) Manager will oversee all HR related activities of the company. The individual will actively support operations through professional HR management and interface with allies such as service and insurance providers. This includes oversight to ensure regulatory compliance, supporting company processes with the goal of superior HR management.
The successful candidate will support the company’s commitment to continuous and process performance improvement. As part of the Management Team, s/he will take an active role in shaping company strategy and direction.

Duties and Tasks:
- Work with Management team to help create and operate in a Safe environment
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies and philosophy; Create company SOPs in support of HR programs
- Recruiting of all staffing needs for the company- Lead and participate in projects to improve the recruiting process and candidate experience including On Boarding Guide and support annual Performance and Development Review process
- Guide and support annual compensation review
- Work with health benefits broker and lead health insurance renewal negotiations
- Participate in on- going efforts to maximize employee engagement, retention & succession planning
- Talent management (learning & development)
- Support training planning and employee skill development; Work with managers to develop career paths for employees
- Ensure completeness of HR documentation
- Serve as main contact person for all USA staff regarding HR issues including but not limited to health insurance questions, PTO and performance related issues
- Interface with German HR to identify and maximize Employee development opportunities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills, fostering positive teamwork; Good communicator at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree or equiv. experience
- 5+ years of HR experience, pref. in manufacturing and distribution
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite required; Familiarity with HRIS such as Paychex
- Social media savvy & experienced (LinkedIn, Instagram etc.)
- Dynamic & go get it done mentality
- Preferably work history with a German or European company
- German Language skills a plus
