Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to support a law firm in downtown Greenville. The ideal candidate will be sharp, possess a strong attention to detail, and desire to work in a fast-paced environment to support the paralegals and attorneys. Prior law firm experience is preferred but not needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to paralegals and attorneys
  • Open new files and file document in management system
  • Interact with clients via email, phone and in-person when needed
  • Manage schedule and calendars
  • Prepare office correspondence
  • Organize client files for meetings and signings
  • file documents with courts when needed
  • Revise legal documents and prepare packets
  • Attend conferences for client to sign documents

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree preferred
  • Previous legal experience preferred but not required
  • Strong aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to type 70+ words per minute
  • Strong grammar, spelling and revising skills
  • Ability to prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Fully on-site in downtown Greenville

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $50,000-52,000
