Overview
Do you have defense litigation experience and looking to join a great team? Do you have experience supporting 2-3 attorneys in a project-based environment? We are looking for a Litigation Administrative Assistant to join a firm in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in a legal support role, preferably with defense litigation. We are looking for a positive, hard working candidate who thrives in a support role with a great team. 

Description
  • Maintain attorney calendars
  • Docket all case-related deadlines
  • Coordinate conference calls
  • Process monthly expense reports
  • Transcribe, revise and finalize multiple materials for attorneys
  • Ensure that documents are properly filed with appropriate courts
  • Schedule depositions and meetings with clients
  • Run conflict checks
  • Open new client/matter engagements
  • Set up billing requirements for clients and enter attorney time
  • Maintain and update contacts
  • Assist with billing/client invoices 
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of defense litigation support
  • High attention to detail
  • MS Office Suite 
  • Exceptional proofreading skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt priorities with ease
