Day to Day:
- Responsible for administering, planning, and evaluating data and voice network requirements.
- Understanding networking systems such as LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and printers.
- Analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot networks and security infrastructure.
- Manage projects simultaneously from a design to implementation.
- Communicate technical information to other technical team members and coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking terminology.
Required Skill Sets:
- Routing and switching experience (HP or Cisco)
- Firewall experience (Palo Alto)
- Understanding networking systems such as LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and printers.
- Certification (CCNA or Network+)
