This Steup Technician job is in Laurens, SC and they need someone who has been a Machine Operator in an automated environment who has worked with Fanuc robotic machinery (or Siemens!)

Pay goes up to $23/hour and benefits start after 30 days!

Description:

  • Adjust, pre-set, set up, and operate machines, especially Fanuc robots
  • Conduct simple troubleshooting of equipment (resetting robot, etc.)
  • Assist with measuring and operating measuring devices and equipment
  • Read CMM reports (not a CMM operator/programmer position)
  • Review blueprint drawings and ensure machines are up to spec
  • Keep robotics working and feed them the material
  • Inspect materials and products
  • Follow written and verbal instructions perfectly
  • Inspect equipment according to maintenance schedule
  • On your feet a good bit
  • Up to $23/hour
  • 3rd shift: 11 PM-7 AM
  • Work Sunday-Thursday with some weekends
  • Annual increases based on performance, attendance, team work, etc.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have machine operating experience in an automated environment, SPECIFICALLY working with Fanuc robots
  • Must have experience troubleshooting robot when it goes down
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Able to read CMM reports
  • Safety oriented
  • Doesn’t run late or miss a lot days
  • Comfortable with computer programs, machinery
  • Open to overtime (8-16 hours a week if robotics don’t run as they should)
  • Open to working other shifts to help with training or coverage
