Position: Warehouse Manager

  • Reports to: Operations Director
  • Lead SC warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, & training activities
  • Hands on management
  • Leadership: design & implement workflows to maximize team performance, identify opportunities to add value to achieve organizational goals
  • Identify short and long term training needs for staff
  • Set and track daily, weekly, monthly performance goals for warehouse
  • Forecast daily shipment volume
  • Develop and maintain department budget based on productivity data
  • Implement cost savings initiatives to improve profitability
  • Verify outgoing shipments through “Cognos Reports” and updating “Daily SOP”
  • Conduct regular cycle counts
  • Use Paycom to approve timesheets
  • Warehouse Systems (Scale, E1, WMS)

 

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7+ years of Warehouse Operations experience
  • Inventory Management, Space Optimization
  • WMS – Oracle, E1, Scale, Echo Ship
  • Familiarity with EDI customer routing systems
