Summary: We are seeking a professional and experienced Temporary Receptionist to join our client, an industrial company on a temporary basis at their Clifton, NJ facility. This role is critical in supporting daily front office operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a polished, professional demeanor.
Looking for someone available to start within the next week or two to work until September 1st covering an extended leave.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact by answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Accurately post daily timesheets for employees
  • Enter and track employee time off, including vacation, sick leave, and bereavement
  • Scan and organize delivery and pick-up slips into designated job folders
  • Digitally file and assign yellow cards to corresponding jobs
  • Support general administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications:
  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience required
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proficient with basic office software and scanning/document management systems
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Experience in an industrial or construction setting is a plus
Compensation: $20–$25/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Onsite Role: This position requires physical presence at our Clifton, NJ office
  • Temporary Assignment: Through September 1, 2025
