Key Responsibilities:
- Design, lead, and oversee Junior and Senior High youth groups, including retreats, service projects, and mission trips.
- Create a welcoming and safe space where young people feel valued and supported as they explore their faith.
- Be actively present in the lives of students by attending events such as sports games, performances, prayer gatherings, and milestone moments.
- Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to youth and young adults through teaching, mentoring, and presence.
- Equip and support adult volunteers through training, encouragement, and compliance with Safe Church practices.
- A genuine passion for walking alongside youth, and college students in their faith journeys.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clergy, staff, volunteers, and families.
- Competence in leveraging technology and social media for effective communication and outreach.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to planning and program development.
- Proven ability to cultivate and sustain both programs and personal relationships.
- Excellent written, verbal, and social communication abilities.
- Emotional maturity, strong self-awareness, and the ability to establish and maintain healthy boundaries.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior experience in youth and/or college ministry leadership strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with liturgical traditions is a plus.
- A demonstrated calling to ministry with young people and a commitment to the life and mission of the church.
- Salaried position starting at $55,000-58,000
- Monday through Thursday and Sundays, must be flexible as there will be afternoon and evening activities
