Position Summary:
We’re seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face and voice for a client in Columbia, SC. This role is pivotal in delivering smooth, professional interactions, whether via phone, in-person, or online—and delivering robust support for our client’s payment processing. Other duties include general support inside our local office as needed in working with owner and other team members.
- Greeting visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, assist with inquiries, and route calls as needed.
- Complete client payments efficiently via:
- In-person walk-ins
- Telephone transactions
- Guiding clients to pay through the company website (“Pay Online”)
- Provide clear instructions and troubleshooting to help clients navigate online HOA payments.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and client interactions.
- Redirect callers or visitors to relevant departments (e.g., Collections, Accounting).
- Support general administrative tasks: mail sorting, scheduling, filing, and handling office supplies as needed.
- Excellent communication—friendly, polished, and professional.
- Prior experience with phone-based customer service or front-desk roles.
- Strong attention to accuracy, especially in recording payments and client details.
- Basic comfort with digital payments and guiding clients online.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail focused.
- Reasonable experience with MS Excel and with spreadsheet creation and manipulation.
- Background in property management, HOA management, or similar industries.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems, such as QuickBooks.
- Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities.
- Full-time, Mon–Fri daytime schedule.
