Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in the employee onboarding process including verification of work authorization through E-Verify, processing new employee paperwork, and adding new employees to all relevant systems
- Handle full-cycle recruiting, collaborating with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Implement and maintain employee recognition programs, safety training, and employee development
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Manage FMLA process
- Manag unemployment claims and accounts
- Process payroll for weekly and semi-monthly employees
- Accurately maintain and update employee records in HRIS
- Communicate constructively with managers about HR matters and concerns
- Establish open communication regarding HR processes, procedures, and initiatives
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
- Support the HR Director with additional tasks
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in human resources
- Proficient in HRIS and payroll processing
- Experienced in full-cycle recruiting
- Excellent communication and organization skills
