We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the growing team of a company in Fountain Inn, SC. This is a full time and permanent opportunity that is onsite.   

Responsibilities:   

  • Manage and process rental income by handling checks, ACH payments, and maintaining multiple property-specific checking accounts 

  • Verify and confirm bill payments, including those processed online, to ensure accurate financial records for each property 

  • Oversee all property expenses, including utilities, maintenance, work orders, and major payments like mortgages, taxes, and insurance renewals 

  • Manage tenant records by tracking lease extensions and maintaining up-to-date ledgers and database information 

  • Prepare detailed bi-monthly reports for each property, collaborating with the team to update financials for property owners 

  • Generate end-of-month invoices and bill-back tenants for shared expenses 

  • Manage month-end mortgage payments and oversee annual property tax and insurance renewals. 

Qualifications:    

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience  

  • Previous experience in the real estate industry a plus 

  • Experience with MS Office products required; Yardi experience preferred 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines  

Hours:      

  • Monday – Friday  

  • 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.  

  • Fully onsite  

Pay:      

  • $50-55k, depending on experience
