We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the growing team of a company in Fountain Inn, SC. This is a full time and permanent opportunity that is onsite.
Responsibilities:

Manage and process rental income by handling checks, ACH payments, and maintaining multiple property-specific checking accounts

Verify and confirm bill payments, including those processed online, to ensure accurate financial records for each property

Oversee all property expenses, including utilities, maintenance, work orders, and major payments like mortgages, taxes, and insurance renewals

Manage tenant records by tracking lease extensions and maintaining up-to-date ledgers and database information

Prepare detailed bi-monthly reports for each property, collaborating with the team to update financials for property owners

Generate end-of-month invoices and bill-back tenants for shared expenses

Manage month-end mortgage payments and oversee annual property tax and insurance renewals.
Qualifications:

2+ years of bookkeeping experience

Previous experience in the real estate industry a plus

Experience with MS Office products required; Yardi experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

Pay:

$50-55k, depending on experience
