A large, multi-state distribution company is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead enterprise-wide risk strategy, insurance programs, safety operations, and regulatory compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands-on leader to shape risk management at scale. The Director will oversee the entire property and casualty insurance portfolio, manage all claims and litigation, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies, including OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and EPA. Collaborating across departments, this leader will reduce operational risk, implement data-driven safety programs, and cultivate a culture of accountability that extends from the field to the executive team.
