Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to support with Human Resources responsibilities including managing bi-weekly payroll for a construction company.

Responsibilities
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer compensation structures, benefits programs, and wellness initiatives to support employee motivation and retention.
  • Onboarding: Manage posting jobs and efficiently onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a liaison between management and employees, addressing grievances, managing conflict, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Training & Development: Assess training needs and implement development programs to enhance skills and motivation, ensuring high standards and adherence to company values.
  • HR Data & Reporting: Maintain HR records, administer HR software, and provide HR metrics and reporting to management for decision support.
  • Workplace Culture: Foster a positive and productive workplace culture through initiatives, effective communication, and demonstrating company values.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources specifically within payroll
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
