We are seeking an experienced and hands-on leader to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for managing outbound shipping activity, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across processes, and maintaining a strong culture of safety and accountability. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can balance people leadership with operational excellence.
 
Direct hire, full-time position. Hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations with a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity
  • Manage the workflow and scheduling of outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Partner closely with customer service and inventory teams to meet order fulfillment requirements
  • Drive accountability through clear expectations, consistent feedback, and fair application of company policies
  • Collaborate with management to establish and monitor departmental goals and performance metrics
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Oversee team training, performance reviews, and professional development
  • Support administrative functions such as order processing, documentation, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or distribution leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Background in cycle counting and/or inventory control preferred
  • Knowledge of 6S or lean operational principles preferred
  • Ability to obtain or maintain lift-truck certification
