A growing property management company in Columbia is seeking a hard working candidate to join their team as an Accounts Receivable/Collections Administrator.  The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile billing for HOA communities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports for HOAs, including statements of account, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Handle collections processes, including issuing late notices, managing payment plans, and working with attorneys for legal actions when necessary.
  • Interpret and apply HOA governing documents to ensure compliance in all financial matters.
  • Work closely with other departments within the firm to ensure a cohesive and team-oriented approach to managing HOAs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HOA boards, maintaining strong and positive relationships. Communicate effectively with attorneys, builders, and courthouses as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in billing, collections, and reporting to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • 3 – 5 years of Accounts Receivable, collections or related experience required
  • Experience in property or HOA management a plus
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Quick books and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $45,000 – $50,000
