Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Arkansas. This role is ideal for a proven sales professional with a strong background in wholesale distribution, construction, tooling, or electrical industries. The successful candidate will manage an established territory with the goal of maintaining existing relationships, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence.

This is a home-based position requiring extensive travel—approximately 60–75% per month – to engage with key customers. Responsibilities include planning and executing sales calls, conducting site visits, developing new business opportunities, and supporting existing clients.

Location: Candidates should reside in the Nashville, TN; Huntsville, AL; or Birmingham, AL areas and work remotely with travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners and key clients through consistent communication and regular site visits.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline, track activities, and report on performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven outside sales experience, preferably in wholesale distribution, construction, tooling, or electrical industries.
  • Strong knowledge of selling directly and through distribution channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Must reside within the designated territory.
