A financial planning firm in Greenville is seeking an experienced and professional candidate to join their team as a Client Services Representative.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the financial planning industry, excellent communication skills, and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients – support/service calls, address questions, and ensure every client receives prompt, professional assistance.
  • Lead and coordinate ongoing client requests, such as address changes, banking updates, beneficiary revisions, and other account maintenance needs—ensuring every update is processed accurately, documented properly, and confirmed to completion.
  • Take ownership of client paperwork and transactions, including preparing, submitting, and tracking applications, transfers, distributions, contributions, RMDs, and QCDs from start to finish.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to prepare meeting folders, financial materials, and ensure seamless client meetings.
  • Maintain client records and activity in the firm’s CRM system, keeping the team informed of household updates and next steps.
  • Monitor and manage client account activity, including new contributions, withdrawals, or changes by preparing and tracking all related paperwork from start to finish, ensuring each step is processed accurately and on time.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance client satisfaction and team efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Prior financial services, banking, or wealth management experience preferred
  • Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
  • Professionalism and composure when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM and portfolio management systems (Redtail, Orion, or similar
  • preferred)
  • SC Insurance License held (or willingness to obtain)
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $52,000 – $62,000/yr
