Responsibilities:
- Direct daily operations for the dining hall, catering, and retail outlets; ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and negotiate vendor contracts for cost effective, high quality services.
- Recruit, train, and supervise food service staff, foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and service; collaborate with campus departments for events and programs.
- Develop long term dining strategies aligned with institutional goals; implement sustainability initiatives.
- Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field ( Masters is preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food service management, prior experience in Higher Education is required.
- Strong leadership, financial management, and organizational skills, knowledge of food safety regulations; excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred experience with sustainability initiatives and campus dining trends.
- $80k – $100k
