Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician – Level 2 to join our team. This role involves providing advanced technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to:
  • Active Directory (AD) management, Group Policy, and Domain Trust Relationships
  • VLAN connectivity and networking (DHCP, DNS, ACLs)
  • Multifactor Authentication (MFA)
  • Deliver Level 1 helpdesk support for:
  • Desktop/laptop imaging, setup, and troubleshooting
  • Printer and VoIP phone system support
  • Mobile device configuration and troubleshooting
  • Manage patch updates for Windows Server infrastructure using Group Policy and WSUS
  • Create and audit IT security policies; maintain awareness of emerging threats
  • Configure and maintain wireless handheld scanning devices
  • Document processes for consistency and repeatability
  • Lead IT projects involving internal and external resources, ensuring timely delivery
  • Maintain relationships with third-party IT vendors
  • Ensure accurate documentation of services and communications
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Strong functional and technical skills in IT systems and networking
  • Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities
  • Action-oriented with high energy and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; approachable and collaborative
  • Physical ability to occasionally move up to 40 lbs
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and WSUS
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with VoIP systems and mobile device management
  • Understanding of IT security best practices
