Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician – Level 2 to join our team. This role involves providing advanced technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to:
- Active Directory (AD) management, Group Policy, and Domain Trust Relationships
- VLAN connectivity and networking (DHCP, DNS, ACLs)
- Multifactor Authentication (MFA)
- Deliver Level 1 helpdesk support for:
- Desktop/laptop imaging, setup, and troubleshooting
- Printer and VoIP phone system support
- Mobile device configuration and troubleshooting
- Manage patch updates for Windows Server infrastructure using Group Policy and WSUS
- Create and audit IT security policies; maintain awareness of emerging threats
- Configure and maintain wireless handheld scanning devices
- Document processes for consistency and repeatability
- Lead IT projects involving internal and external resources, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain relationships with third-party IT vendors
- Ensure accurate documentation of services and communications
- Adhere to ISO 9001 quality standards
Qualifications:
- Strong functional and technical skills in IT systems and networking
- Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities
- Action-oriented with high energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; approachable and collaborative
- Physical ability to occasionally move up to 40 lbs
- Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and WSUS
- Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with VoIP systems and mobile device management
- Understanding of IT security best practices
