Schedule: 3rd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Pay Range: $21–$25 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician with hands-on wet lab experience to support quality assurance and laboratory operations in a chemical manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for testing raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
The role also supports research and development activities, including sample preparation, production line trials, and developmental projects.
A chemistry degree is preferred; however, candidates with 3+ years of relevant wet lab experience will be strongly considered.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform wet chemistry testing on raw materials, finished products, and development samples

  • Conduct manual titrations and analytical testing procedures

  • Assist with calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of lab equipment

  • Prepare and package samples for customer shipment

  • Maintain, clean, and sterilize glassware, lab supplies, and work areas

  • Manage laboratory inventory, supplies, and chemical stock

  • Maintain accurate daily logs, test results, and equipment records

  • Analyze data and prepare reports for management review

  • Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) using lab software

  • Support special laboratory and development projects

  • Identify and report safety concerns within the lab

 
Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Chemistry or related field or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Minimum 3 years of wet lab experience in a chemical or manufacturing laboratory

  • Experience conducting manual titrations and solution-based testing

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness to work occasional overtime or on-call as needed

  • Wet chemistry techniques

  • Manual titrations

  • Equipment calibration

  • IR scans and product searches

  • Color measurement

  • Automatic potentiometer operation

  • Brookfield viscometer operation

  • HPLC and GC operation (with chemist guidance)

  • pH and activity adjustments

 
Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

  • Standing and walking for the majority of the shift

  • Manufacturing and office environments with occasional outdoor exposure

  • Possible overtime or off-shift hours as required
