We are seeking an experience Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (Spanish/English) with removal defense and family immigration law experience. This position is located in-office in Greenville, SC and will offer relocation for a Spanish/English speaking paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
DETAILS
- Assist attorneys with immigration caseload, including drafting documents, filing applications, speaking to clients, scheduling appointments, calendaring, and other administrative duties
- Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, declarations, and evidence packets for EOIR
- Prepare and file immigration applications and other USCIS and EOIR filings
- Conduct client intake interviews
- Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish
- Gather supporting documentation and ensure accuracy
- Organize and maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and reminders
- Prepare trial?ready packets, exhibit lists, and filings for Immigration Court hearings
- Draft client declarations and translate documents
- Communicate with government agencies (USCIS, ICE, EOIR, NVC) via phone, email, and online portals
- Maintain accurate case notes and updates in the firm’s case management system
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in immigration law; removal defense experience strongly preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a small?team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and case management software
- Able to work on-site in Greenville, SC, Monday-Friday 8-5 (relocation assistance provided)
- $65k-$82k/year for someone with more mid-level experience
