We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Assistant Property Manager to assist with the daily operations for a client of ours in Florence, SC with a focus on marketing. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, have strong administrative skills, and be willing to obtain their PM license within 4 months of hire.
This position is temporary-to-hire, with standard hours of Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with maintaining property rentals by filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases
- Establishes rental rates
- Organizes property viewings
- Performs administrative duties
- Inspects property conditions and coordinates inspections
- Collects security deposits and rent payments
- Handles resident relations
- Maintains building systems
- Prepares reports
Qualifications
- Excellent phone etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property leasing and management.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong customer service skills
- Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma (Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 1+ year experience in customer service
- 1-2 years property management, or hospitality
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- SC Property Management Licensure; or willing to obtain within 4 months of hire
- $23-25/hour
