A company in Camden, SC is hiring a Retail Customer Care Representative to work in their Retail Center as a main point of contact for customers. This role involves helping customers in person or by phone with billing questions, payments, service changes, and general account support. Representatives promote services and handle basic sales tasks. Daily work includes using a computer, payment systems, and customer support software.

This is an on-site Direct Hire role from $17-19hr with benefits.

Responsibilities:                                                 
  • Provide friendly, helpful customer service to walk?in and phone customers.
  • Process customer payments and follow cash?handling procedures.
  • Make billing adjustments and update customer accounts.
  • Assist with routine retail tasks such as maintaining inventory and keeping the store organized.
  • Recommend service upgrades, add?ons, and features.
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, and billing concerns.
  • Complete service forms, changes, disconnects, and address updates.
  • Investigate and help resolve service?order issues.
  • Maintain regular attendance and arrive on time.
  • Answer inbound customer service calls when not assisting in?store customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Basic math skills, including calculating adjustments and percentages.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • Six months to one year of customer service or related experience preferred.
  • Sales or industry experience is helpful.
  • Reliable transportation for possible travel to other retail locations.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
