Onsite Temp 6–12 Months with Opportunity for Permanent Hire
Pay: $45,000 annually | $21.63 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, onsite
Hours: Training begins at 9:00 AM. After training, you may choose a start time of 8:00, 8:30, or 9:00 AM. Option for a 30?minute or 1?hour lunch. Standard 8-hour workday.

Overview
A growing financial services team is seeking a Collections Specialist to support early-stage delinquency efforts. This is a long-term temporary role (6–12 months) with strong potential to become permanent for top performers. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
 
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will work with customers who are 3–30 days past due to help bring accounts current. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing a daily list of assigned past-due accounts
  • Calling, emailing, texting, and sending letters to reach customers
  • Following established collection procedures and escalating as needed
  • Negotiating past-due fees within provided guidelines
  • Researching additional contact information when necessary
  • Documenting account notes and activity accurately
  • Processing payments over the phone
  • Using tools such as text messaging and specialty outbound calling tools to increase contact rates
  • Participating in approximately one week of training

  • 6 months to 1+ year of collections or accounts receivable experience required
  • Strong reliability and consistent attendance
  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette
  • Comfortable with technology; proficient in MS Office
  • Strong listening skills and professional assertiveness
  • Process-driven, organized, and self-motivated
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in high-volume or customer-focused environments (e.g., financial services, lending, call centers) is a plus
