Overview:
We are hiring a Bilingual Call Center Representative for a local nonprofit organization in Columbia, SC. The Bilingual Call Center Representative is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, assisting calls with applications and questions, documenting calls, and following up accordingly.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake calls by phone and assist with completing applications.
- Use an online client management system to accurately enter and update client information.
- Stay current on relevant programs such as food assistance, healthcare coverage, tax support, and voter registration.
- Provide professional, respectful, high quality customer service.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality.
- Follow contact center policies and help improve processes when needed.
- Communicate with leadership about contact center activity or issues.
- Build positive relationships with clients, partners, and community agencies.
- Apply critical thinking to understand client needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- $16hr
- Temp-to-perm with full benefits including health insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and retirement offered once converted to permanent employee
- FGP offers basic health benefits while under contract
- Full-time schedule Monday – Friday from 8:30 – 5
