Responsibilities:
- Coordinate weekly payroll cycle for the organization
- Maintain employee data in both time & attendance and payroll software applications
- Act as a liaison with Human Resources staff on employee profile data entry and records
- Work with Senior Accountant to coordinate weekly accounts payable cycle, including data entry for invoices and weekly remote check printing, as well as monthly AP ledger closing
- Respond to vendor requests and inquiries regarding payment status
- Prepare required quarterly tax and information returns (sales tax, etc.)
The ideal candidate will have at minimum:
- Five years of experience in payroll and/or accounts payable
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Skilled in AP, Payroll and HRIS systems
