Plan Manager – Retirement Services
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Pay: $50,000 per year
Work Setting: In-Office
Position Summary
The Plan Manager is responsible for maintaining direct communication with employers regarding all aspects of their retirement plans. This role provides guidance and support on distributions, contributions, compliance requirements, and plan design. The Plan Manager works closely with employers to ensure accurate plan administration, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer, return, and make intermediate-level calls to employers, advisors, and plan participants
- Resolve basic to intermediate issues that prevent payrolls from being processed
- Monitor and communicate contribution rate discrepancies to employers
- Receive, review, approve, and forward plan-related forms (distributions, rollovers, beneficiary changes, SRA’s)
- Assist employers with payroll uploads through an online portal
- Read and interpret simple sections of retirement plan documents
- Communicate contribution changes clearly and professionally
- Assist with system upgrade testing prior to production implementation
- Prepare year-end valuation letters
- Review simple to intermediate non-audited and simple audited year-end financial reports and Form 5500s
- Calculate plan eligibility with intermediate requirements
- Review contribution calculations and projections and explain them to employers
- Assist with year-end audits, including researching and responding to auditor questions
- Adhere to safety rules and company policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Adobe products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
- High attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
- Strong organizational skills, including time management and follow-up
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle interruptions while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
