Our client, a global manufacturing company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative with order management experience to process customer inquiries, orders, and shipment-related requests. This role partners closely with customers, sales, planning, warehouse, and accounting teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement in service levels.

This is a Direct Hire, on-site position in Travelers Rest, SC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up, maintain, and update customer accounts and part information
  • Enter and acknowledge customer purchase orders within 24 business hours
  • Process customer requests related to new or revised specifications and part numbers
  • Manage open orders, order status, and customer web-based order portals
  • Coordinate with production planning and warehouse teams to support on-time, in-full deliveries
  • Allocate finished goods or work-in-process inventory to fulfill customer orders
  • Communicate shipping requests and prepare required warehouse and customs documentation
  • Generate daily shipping reports and calculate shipment estimates
  • Create and release invoices on the same day as shipment
  • Communicate regularly with customers and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Support Sales, Accounting, and Warehouse teams as needed, including month-end closing and audits
  • Prepare reports and complete additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or supply chain operations for a manufacturing company
  • Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused, patient, and confident with a positive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • $60,000-$70,000
  • 3% yearly bonus
