A real estate agency is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Transaction Coordinator and Administrative Assistant for their team in Columbia, SC. This opportunity is 100% onsite, with part time hours of Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm, and limited Fridays. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate has a background in real estate or legal, and strong skills in document management and multitasking.
Duties:
- Draft brokerage documents from approved templates
- Maintain organization of templates to improve document workflow
- Ensure documents are accurate and consistently formatted
- Audit deal folders for consistency and completeness
- Coordinate with brokers and administrative staff to maintain standardized files
- Work alongside attorneys when transactions require legal review
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, calendar management, and meeting preparation
- Reserve conference rooms and welcome clients and visitors
- Answer phone calls and coordinate catering
Requirements:
- Strong organization, administrative and document management skills
- Previous experience as a Notary, preferred
- Excellent knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Products
- Professional communication in both spoken and written form within all levels of the organization, required.
- Familiarity with contracts, leases, or transaction documentation preferred
- Paralegal certificate or similar legal document background preferred
- Real estate or brokerage administrative experience preferred
- $20-$25/hour
