We are seeking a professional Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager in Greenville, SC to oversee daily accounting operations and support overall office administration. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of bookkeeping and office management experience and will have strong experience with QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages for leadership review
- Process payroll accurately and maintain payroll records using accounting software
- File payroll tax reports and sales tax returns in a timely manner
- Maintain organized and confidential financial, payroll, and employee records
- Partner with external accounting professionals during year-end reporting and financial review processes
- Support day-to-day office operations, including ordering supplies and maintaining office organization
- Answer incoming calls, manage administrative documentation, and provide general support to company leadership
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting functions in a small business environment
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop and/or online)
- Knowledge of payroll processing, payroll tax reporting, and sales tax filings
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- $20 – $25 per hour
