We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant in Greer, SC to support financial operations and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes, collaborate with leadership, and play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and reporting. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding verification, approvals, and payment processing
  • Oversee customer billing activities, post payments, investigate discrepancies, and support collections efforts for outstanding balances
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure account accuracy
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting subledgers
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review
  • Support internal controls, compliance initiatives, and financial documentation processes
  • Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors regarding year-end reporting and tax-related matters
  • Develop ad hoc financial, operational, and administrative reports as needed
  • Participate in process improvements, special projects, and other initiatives that support business growth

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
  • 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices
  • Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $85,000 – $100,000
