Commercial Service Coordinator
Location: Columbia, SC
Pay: $23-$27/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Service Coordinator to support daily service operations and ensure exceptional customer experiences. This role is responsible for scheduling and dispatching field technicians, managing customer communications, preparing service quotes, and coordinating administrative processes that keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Dispatching
  • Coordinate and manage daily schedules for service and installation technicians.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm appointments and service needs.
  • Monitor schedules in real time and adjust for emergencies, delays, or cancellations.
  • Ensure efficient routing and utilization of field staff.
Customer Service
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling and service updates.
  • Provide clear communication on timelines, job status, and expectations.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Quoting & Administrative Support
  • Prepare accurate quotes for labor, parts, and materials.
  • Track quote approvals and assist with converting approved quotes into work orders.
  • Maintain service records, scheduling logs, and job documentation.
  • Process purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers for parts and materials.
  • Support management with reporting and operational improvements.
 
Qualifications
  • Experience in scheduling, dispatching, service coordination, customer service, or administrative support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM, scheduling, or dispatch software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, maintenance, or service industries is a plus.
