Anne Tyler Walhout

Business Development

Anne Tyler is a member of our Business Development Team based out of our Charleston, SC office. She works to build new business relationships and expand upon established partnerships across the state of South Carolina, focusing on the Coastal region. She enjoys developing relationships with clients and helping them identify talent solutions in order to achieve long-term success.

She started her career at FGP as an Associate Recruiter, supporting our staffing team with administrative needs while also gaining valuable hands-on experience working with candidates and getting to know our clients. Prior to joining FGP, Anne Tyler worked for an association management company, coordinating the day-to-day activities of four groups within the pavement preservation and recycling industry. She is a graduate of Wheaton College.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I love spending time with family and friends, whether hanging out in the backyard or going out to grab a drink!

What’s your favorite travel destination, or where would you like to go?

East Africa is by far my favorite travel destination so far. There are beautiful mountains, jungles, and beaches! A highlight from my time in Rwanda was going gorilla trekking and getting to interact with silverback gorillas in the wild.

What was your first job?

When I was in high school, I worked at a high-end consignment shop in Columbia called Revente! It’s still one of my favorite stores to stop in when I have time.
