John Uprichard is the CEO for Find Great People (FGP), providing leadership that has led to more than 2500% revenue growth and a 10x Best Place to Work since 2002. John is a Trustee at Claflin University and a Governor appointed Board Member at the SC Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW). He is the former Board Chair for the SC Chamber of Commerce, a Liberty Fellow, affiliated with the Aspen Institute Global Leadership Network and a member of Young President’s Organization (YPO). John holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Auburn University and an MBA from Brenau University. He is a proud veteran after beginning his professional career as a Naval Officer with tours overseas, on a submarine and an aircraft carrier.

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

I love watching football, but enjoy playing soccer and being the oldest guy on the field. I am a passionate Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.

If you could have any other fantasy career what would it be and why?

I would love to be a head football coach in the NFL or a catholic priest.

What motivates you to work hard?

The 70+ families that count on FGP, and solving business problems for our customers.

What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Free swim with sharks in Hawaii in 500 feet of water.
