Laura Fischman

As the Director of Operations at FGP, Laura oversees all operations and marketing initiatives for the company. She is responsible for marketing materials, digital marketing, social media, branding strategy, and events for clients and FGP staff members. She also manages internal company communication, onboarding, and operations. She is passionate about sharing the story of FGP, helping the team streamline operations to increase efficiency, and expanding the company’s brand reach as a local, regional and national leader in talent acquisition.

Prior to joining FGP, Laura worked in Higher Education where she oversaw student activities and major events, then transitioned into graduate admissions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Virginia Tech and a Master of Education in Counselor Education, Student Affairs from Clemson University.

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

I am a die-hard Hokie for life and love supporting Virginia Tech. Thanks to my husband, I am also a huge Carolina Panther’s fan. We try to get to as many games as we can each season!

What is your personal life motto?

What motivates you to work hard?

I want to set a positive example for my children, so they know hard work and passion can help them achieve anything they set their minds to.
